OPERATION TECHNICAL MANUAL - FORAGE WAGON JF 9000 S2
Disassembling the wheels hubs (1) for lubrication
a) Lift the Tanden wheel with a jack and support the
wagon structure on stands, on safe points.
b) Remove the cover (2) using a screw-driver.
c) Remove the cotter pin (3), the nut (4) and the washer
(5).
d) Remove the wheel along with the hub (1) and the
other components.
e) Wash the ball bearings (6) with a brush and kerosene. If they are damaged, replace them.
f) Lubricate the ball bearings (6) with the grease specified in page 25.
g) Assemble the wheel hub (1) following the disassembling reverse order.
h) Adjust the ball bearings pre-load tightening the nut (4) until the wheel (or the hub) presents
a little resistance to turning.
I) Install a new cotter pin (3) and put the cover back.
j) Use the same procedure for the other wheels hubs.
