OPERATION TECHNICAL MANUAL - FORAGE WAGON JF 9000 S2
Transporting on roads and streets
Note:
Wagon transport with the tractor must not be done on roads and streets. Such
practice must be limited to inside the farm properties and rural zones.
Refer to the traffic department for the regulations and laws in force in your region
about the possibility or not of the transporting the machine with the tractor on
certain parts of the roads, avoiding serious troubles. Request guidance,
authorizations and procedures in writing.
On even surfaces you can use the maximum speed of the tractor. On uneven
surfaces you should reduce the speed in order to meet the safety conditions.
When the wagon is loaded, the speed must be compatible with the tractor size. The
factors mentioned in item (Operation) must be also considered when transiting on
roads.

Transport on truck

Whenever there is need for transporting the wagon for longer distances or when there is need
for using public roads, the transport must be done on truck.
The wagon must be entirely on the truck body. It is basic that the head be fastened to the floor
of the truck body and the wheels wedged with wood wedges on the floor. Moreover, steel
cables or special ropes may be used to fasten the wagon to the truck body.
