The following table will help you locate and eliminate minor faults:
Fault
No symbol in the display.
The automatic circuit break-
er in the fuse box trips.
Water runs out of the ap-
pliance.
The coffee is dispensed
into the coffee jug very
slowly.
The coffee does not run
into the coffee jug.
The coffee is too weak.
Grounded coffee does not
fall into the filter compart-
ment.
Strong build-up of steam
whilst brewing coffee.

If you cannot resolve the problem with the steps described above, please contact

No mains power.
Display defective.
Too many appliances connect-
ed to the same power circuit.
No fault detected.
Too much water in the water
tank.
Drip protector blocked.
Appliance is scaled.
Coffee jug lid is not correctly
fitted.

Grinder shaft blocked.

Remedy
Insert the mains plug.
Check the fuse/mains
socket.
Contact customer serv-
ice.
Reduce the number of
appliances on the power
circuit.

Do not overfill the water
tank!
Clean drip protector.
Descale the appliance.
Fit the lid correctly.
Only fill in the amount
of water required for the
desired number of cups.
Clean grinder shaft.
Descale the appliance
several times.
