1.0 User Controls and Display

1.1 On Switch
When depressed the unit powers up and enables the
Laser in CW (Continuous Wave) mode. This is
indicated by the output LED illuminating.
1.2 OFF Switch
To turn the unit off, depress the OFF switch.
1.3 CW / MOD Switch
Used to select the Laser output to either CW
(Continuous Wave) or 2 Hz Flashing light. Selection
is indicated by the output LED flashing in the Flash
mode or being continuously illuminated when
selected to CW. To change back to the previous
mode, depress the CW/MOD switch again.
1.4 LO BATT LED
This LED illuminates when the AA Dry cells require
replacing or the AA rechargeable batteries require
recharging.
1.5 CHARGE LED
This LED will illuminate when the external Mains
Adapter is connected to the source indicating that the
instrument is now powered from the adapter and any
rechargeable batteries connected (with the switch in
the NiCd/NiMh position) are on charge.
