CAUTION: Ensure power is OFF before filling.
NOTE: Follow cautions on page 5 regarding additives to water.
CAUTION: Make sure base is on level surface when
filling, as the tank could become unsteady and topple
over the base.
1. Lift off and set aside the lid. Use a container to
pour water into the water tank. The PILLAR has a
total tank capacity of 1.7 gallons.
2. Replace the lid.

OPERATION

Control Panel Display

The LED control panel on the PILLAR provides a full
display of the humidifier's settings, as well as ambient
temperature and humidity. LED lights will trace up
both sides of the control panel while the unit is on.
1. Turn Unit On - Press the power button on the
unit or the remote, to turn the unit to the on.
The starting position is in high flow rate. Press-
ing the power button a second and third time
reduces flow to medium and low, respectively.
The brightness of the lights also reduces as flow
decreases. Ambient temperature and relative
humidity will alternately display on the screen.
2. Set Humidity - Press the humidity setting button
on the unit or remote to set desired humidity
from 25 - 65%. The percentage increases in five
percent increments as displayed digitally on the
control panel. The unit will turn on and off as
needed to maintain the selected humidity. When
the humidity dips five % below the selected lev-
el, the unit will start releasing mist again. When
set at 65%, the unit will run continuously.
3. Set Timer - to set the timer, press the timer button
on the unit or remote. The numbers along the bot-
tom of the display highlight in sequence: 1 hour, 2
hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours. Press the desired time
and the unit will run for the selected time, then
turn off. The timer symbol and selected time will
stay illuminated during the run time.
Additional Indications:
1. While operating, the humidifier will alternately
display ambient temperature (in Fahrenheit) and
relative humidity (% RH) on the screen.
2. When the tank runs out of water, the droplet
icon in the top right hand portion of the panel
turns red and warning beeps will sound. After
10 beeps, the unit goes into standby mode with
only the small power button illuminated.
