OPERATION

Turn On and Set Controls
1. Press the power button once to turn unit on.
The control panel will illuminate.
2. For the first use, the mist output level will
display. Press the plus button to increase,
or the minus button to decrease flow rate.
The display will show 1 to 5 to indicate the
selected flow rate.
3. Press the warm button to change from cool
mist (default) to the warm mist option. The
display readout will change to indicate ei-
ther COOL (green indication) or WARM (red
indication).
NOTES: The default mist setting is cool mist. It takes
a few minutes to reach the warm mist temperature.
The last settings used will be maintained the next
time the unit is turned on.
Set the Humidistat
4. The DUET can be set to maintain a humidity
level between 25% to 65%. Press the hu-
midity button until the desired percentage is
displayed on the display. At 65% the DUET
will run continuously. Press the plus or minus
button to step through the choices in 5%
increments.
5. The selected percentage will flash on the
display for five seconds, then return to
standard display. The unit will maintain the
selected percentage until reset, changed or
unit runs out of water.
Other Features
1. The timer function allows you to limit the
run time on the humidifier. Press the timer
button to walk through the timer options:
2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours. The
clock icon will stay on the screen when this
feature is in use.
2. Auto Shutoff alerts when the DUET runs out
of water, and the motor will turn itself off.
3. Control Lock function - you can lock the set-
tings on the humidiifer by pressing the plus
(+) and minus (-) keys at the same time for 5
seconds. "CL" will be appear on the display
for a few seconds, then return to the stan-
dard display. To unlock it, press both buttons
again for 5 seconds.
