PASO 49:
Llenado de Electrólito de la Batería
Quite la batería de su soporte.
Verifique si el recipiente del electrólito es adecuado a la
batería.
No perfore ni quite los sellos del recipiente del
electrólito.
No corte ni perfore el recipiente.
Quite el sello de los orificios de la batería.

(1) RECIPIENTE DE ELECTROLITO

ASEGURESE DE QUE EL CODIGO DE LA BATERIA
COINCIDA CON EL CODIGO DEL RECIPIENTE DE
ELECTROLITO DE LA BATERIA
Vire el recipiente de electrólito sobre los orificios de la
batería. Alinee los picos del recipiente con los orificios
y presione firmemente el recipiente sobre los orificios.

• El electrólito de la batería es altamente corrosivo.
• El contacto con el electrólito puede causar heridas
a los ojos y a la piel o dañar a las ropas.
• Use anteojos de seguridad y ropas protectoras al
manosear el electrólito.
Después de perforar los sellos, certifíquese de que el
recipiente permanezca en la posición VERTICAL hasta
que el electrólito tenga sido TOTALMENTE
DRENADO.
Verifique las celdas del recipiente para certificarse de
que el nivel del fluido está disminuyendo, indicando
que el electrólito está siendo drenado hacia la batería.
NO INCLINE, NO MUEVA Y NO SACUDA LA
BATERIA ni el recipiente durante el drenaje del
electrólito.
Deje el electrólito drenar COMPLETAMENTE.
NINGUN electrólito DEBE PERMANECER en el
recipiente.
Espere 30 MINUTOS mientras el electrólito satura las
placas antes de colocar la tapa o aplicar carga.
Deshágase del recipiente de forma a no agredir el medio
ambiente.
NO ADICIONE ningún otro producto a la batería.

STEP 49:
Battery Electrolyte Addition
Remove the battery from its bracket.
Check if the electrolyte container is adequate for the
battery.
DO NOT puncture or remove the electrolyte container
seals.
DO NOT cut or puncture the container.
Remove the seal from the battery ports.
(1) ELECTROLYTE CONTAINER
MAKE SURE THE BATTERY CODE MATCHES THE
ELECTROLYTE CONTAINER CODE.
Turn the electrolyte container over the battery ports. Align
the container spouts with the battery ports and firmly press
the container into the ports.

• Battery acid is highly corrosive.
• Contact with battery acid can damage your eyes,
skin or clothing.
• Wear eye protection and protective clothing when
working with battery acid.
Once the container seals are punctured, make sure the
container remains PERFECTLY UPRIGHT until the
electrolyte is COMPLETELY DRAINED.
Check each container cell to be sure the fluid level is
dropping, indicating that the electrolyte is draining into the
battery. DO NOT MOVE, TILT OR JIGGLE the battery or
container while the electrolyte is DRAINING.
Allow the electrolyte to drain COMPLETELY FROM THE
CONTAINER. There MUST BE NO ELECTROLYTE LEFT
in the container.
Allow the battery to STAND for 30 MINUTES while the
electrolyte soaks into plates before capping and charging.
Dispose of the container in an environmentally safe
manner.
DO NOT ADD any other product to the battery.
