6.3 AC connection
To connect the power, disassemble the onboard
instrument panel, (Fig. 10, ref. 3); then run the power
cables through one of the holes, (Fig. 11, ref. 2), and
the cable duct, (Fig. 10, ref. 1), and fix them directly on
the magnetothermal switch, (Fig. 10, ref. 2).
A single-phase utility can be drawn by drawing voltage
from one phase and from the neutral.
The power available on the single-phase is about a third
of the three-phase.
• Ensure that the sum of the loads to be fed does not
exceed the rated output of the generator.
• The generator is equipped with a magnetothermal
switch which cuts the power in the event of an
overload or short-circuit.

6.4 Generator-mains switching
A switch should be placed on the line to switch the user
appliances from the generator to an external power line.
The switch should be dimensioned according to the size
of the loads; a general diagram is shown in Fig. 12.
7 HANDLING
For handling and lifting the generator use only the
special lifting hooks fitted on the engine. To prevent
balancing problems use the hooks simultaneously and
never individually.
Hooking the generator at points different from that
indicated may cause damage to the generator or be
dangerous to the operators.
