The mobile app is a native software application for Android and is pre-installed
on the control unit included in the scope of supply of the Dräger X-pid xx00. The
mobile app is developed and tested for the ecom Smart-Ex
approved for this model. Installation on other terminals is not possible.

The status LED displays various signals depending on the device and
connection status of the sensor unit and mobile app.

Charge
Sensor unit is turned off and is being
charged.
Charged
Sensor unit is turned off and fully
charged. Charging cable is con-
nected.
Connected
Sensor unit is turned on and con-
nected to the mobile app.
Not connected
Sensor unit is turned on, but not con-
nected to the mobile app.
Standby mode
Sensor unit is turned on, connected to
the mobile app and in standby mode.
Connection failed
Sensor unit is turned on, but the con-
nection to the mobile app has failed.
Sequence only for a short time follow-
ing a failed connection attempt.
Sensor unit identified
Sensor unit is connected and the
Blinking button in the Dashboard
mobile app has been pressed to iden-
tify the connected sensor unit.
Charging faulty
Sensor unit is turned off and is show-
ing a charging error. The battery can-
not be charged, e.g. due to the
ambient temperature during charging
or a fault, see "Chapter 5.5 Charging
the sensor unit" for further informa-
tion.
