INSTALLATION
CHIMNEY STACK
The chimney stack must have the following
requirements:
• have a section and shape equivalent to that of
the chimney fl ue;
- have a useful outlet section no less than dou-
ble that of the chimney fl ue;
• be built to prevent rain, snow or foreign body
penetration and, for wind, guarantee normal
smoke fl ow;
• it must be positioned to guarantee adequate
dispersion and dilution of combustion products,
outside the back fl ow zone.
CHIMNEY HEIGHT
The height of the part of the chimney protruding
from the roof depends on the type of slope, its
inclination and its position.
