COMPONENTS CHECK AND SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Each season you must call the Technical Support Centre authorised by EDILKAMIN (TSC) for the
necessary seasonal maintenance.
It consists of:
• Cleaning the stove internally and externally
• Accurate cleaning of the exchange piping
• Accurate cleaning and scale removal of the burner in the combustion chamber and wood loading
chamber
• Mechanically checking the ranges and fastenings
• Smoke channel cleaning (gasket replacement on the piping) and the smoke extractor fan cham-
ber
• Probe check
• Cleaning/checking the synoptic panel
• Visual inspection of the electrical cables, the connections and power supply cable
• Check and replacement, if necessary, of the door seal
• Functional testing: switch on and operation
The cleaning, control and/or maintenance operations to carry out are summarised below:
Combustion chamber and wood chamber
(Fig. 1-2)
Upper cover and tube bundle
(Fig. 3-4-5)
"T" shaped tube cleaning
Smoke by-pass shutter
Smoke pipe
Accurate cleaning of internal smoke circuit
and smoke channel
Seal testing
Functional testing
PLACING OUT OF SERVICE (END OF SEASON)
At the end of each seasons, you are advised to deep clean each part of the boiler.
You are advised to disconnect the appliance from the electrical power mains.
