La bujía debe ser sustituida cuando pre-
senta: grietas en el aislante, electrodos
corroídos, depósitos excesivos o electro-
do central (5) con la cabeza redondeada
(8).
•
Controlar la distancia entre los
electrodos con un calibre de es-
pesores del tipo con hilo (9).
ATENCIÓN
NO INTENTAR DE NINGUNA MANERA
RESTABLECER LA DISTANCIA EN-
TRE LOS ELECTRODOS.
La distancia entre los electrodos debe
ser de 0,6 - 0,7 mm. (0.023 - 0.027 pul-
gadas): si fuera diferente, sustituir la bu-
jía.
•
Asegurarse que la arandela (10)
esté en buenas condiciones.
Para la instalación:
•
Con la arandela (10) montada,
enroscar a mano la bujía para
evitar dañar el roscado.
•
Apretar con la llave en dotación
del kit de herramientas girando
1/2 vuelta cada bujía para apre-
tar la arandela.
Par de apriete de la bujía: 20 Nm (2
kgm).

Replace the spark plug if its insulator is
cracked, the electrodes show signs of
corrosion or excessive deposits or the top
(8) of the central electrode (5) gets roun-
ded.
•
Check the electrode gap with a
feeler thickness gauge (9).
CAUTION
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO READJUST
THE ELECTRODE GAP.
The electrode gap should be between 0.6
- 0.7 mm (0.023 - 0.027 in). Replace the
spark plug if the gap is different.
•
Make sure that the washer (10)
is in good conditions.
Installation:
•
Once the washer (10) is fitted,
manually screw the spark plug
to avoid damaging the thread.
•
Tighten it using the spanner
supplied in the tool kit, make
each spark plug complete 1/2 of
a turn to press the washer.
Spark plug tightening torque: 20 Nm (2
kgm).
