• Clamp foot into a 5–7° flexion position.
Cheetah Xplore Junior:
• Adjust to appropriate heel height.
• Introduce appropriate socket angles flexion/ extension and
abduction/adduction.
• The load line should fall at the junction of the posterior and the
middle third portions as shown in (Figure 2).
Coronal plane
• Introduce appropriate socket abduction/adduction using a jig.
• Determine appropriate internal or external socket rotation.
Note: The recommendations for bench alignment are used as a starting
point.

CUTTING FOOT MODULE
• Ensure kids have enough clearance during knee flexion.
• Trim foot module to the top end of the laminating connector.
• Cut foot module using a hack saw or band saw.
WATERPROOF
A waterproof device allows use in a wet and/or humid environment and
temporary (<30 mins.) submersion of up to 1m in fresh water. Exposure
to fresh water under these circumstances shall have no harmful effect.
Dry thoroughly after contact with fresh water. Fresh water: Includes tap
water. Excludes salt and chlorinated water.
The components used with the foot need to be waterproof as well.
SOLE ATTACHMENT
• For tighter fit of the sole or to reduce noise bond insert on lower
surface of foot module using Loctite 495, clean bonding surfaces
before applying adhesive, keep under pressure for 10 minutes cure.
• Slide the Nike sole on to the foot and make sure all the clips go over
the foot.
• Pull the rubber strap of the sole over the medallion and slide it under.
When detaching the sole, start by pulling the strap away from the
medallion, then slide the sole off the foot.
