HOT AIR CIRCULATION
In the installation area, the hot air is emitted through the
grill installed in the upper front portion (1 - fig. A).
To channel the hot air into the adjoining rooms, the fire-
place is equipped with two outlets on the lid (2 - fig. A)
to which special aluminium pipes must be connected.
An optional KIT 3 is available in order to facilitate hot air
distribution (see page 29).
It is essential to remember the importance of proper insu-
lation on the pipe where the hot air passes to avoid
dispersion.
Avoid curves in the pipe as much as possible.
The distribution of the hot air via channelling is control-
led by two levers (L Fig. B); one for each outlet (2 fig.
B).
To access the "L" levers, grille 1 must first be pulled
open (fig. B) with the "cold hand" handle (fig. E).
With the levers "pushed back" (fig. C) the hot air comes
out of the front grille (1) with the levers "pulled forward"
(fig. D) the hot air will be directed into the pipe through
the outlets (2).
To prevent burns, move the lever with the "cold hand"
handle (fig. F).
On the following page some possible combinations for
distributing the hot air in the various rooms of the house
are described.
