Vacuum Blaster
Blasting activities can be restarted with the deadman handle or the remote control
system. The amount of media does not have to be set again.
5.3
Stopping
Stop blasting with the deadman handle or the remote control system.
WARNING!
Hold the installed hose package firmly until Vacuum Blaster is depressurised.
The pot will decompress and the filling cone falls down.
Compressed air powered models only: How long the vacuum cleaner continues to run
after releasing the deadman handle can be set using the knob, see figure 15.
Electric powered models only: The vacuum cleaner continous to run after the deadman
handle has been released. Shut down the vacuum cleaner manually.
To stop working shut off the compressor or close the ball valve in the supply line.
WARNING!
Make sure Vacuum Blaster and the air supply line are being depressurised before
transporting Vacuum Blaster or disconnecting the airline. Wait until all air has been
released and the system pressure gauge indicates "0" before disconnecting any of the
hoses.
WARNING!
Emergency stop: In case of an emergency close the system ball valve. Blasting activities
will stop and the pot will depressurize.
5.4
Transport and Storage
Store Vacuum Blaster empty and in a dry place.
During transport, consider the altered weight and center of gravity if Vacuum Blaster is
not empty.
WARNING!

Never move Vacuum Blaster when in use.
•
Never move Vacuum Blaster with any external hoses attached.
•
Always lift or transport Vacuum Blaster with the wheels facing downwards.
Vacuum Blaster is only to be lifted by forklift with forks secured in the fork lift channel.
WARNING!
Do not tilt Vacuum Blaster.

Maintenance
WARNING!
Never perform any maintenance or disconnect hoses when Vacuum Blaster is in use or
pressurized. Wait until all air has been released and the system pressure gauge indicates
"0" before disconnecting any of the hoses.
