Stock

It's recommended to have the following spare parts in stock:
• Membrane and rubber wear disc for the decompression valve.
• Silencer of the decompression valve.
• Repair kit for the main air valve.
• Filling cone ring.
• Repair kit of media metering valve.

Recycling

Used blast media is to be disposed according to local regulations.
The product has been designed for component materials to be recycled. Its different
material types must be handled according to relevant local regulations. Contact the
distributor or Nederman if uncertainties arise when scrapping the product at the end of
its service life.

Troubleshooting

If the trouble shooting guide in Table 7-1: Trouble shooting guide does not solve the
problem, contact your nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for technical advice.

Problem
Vacuum Blaster doesn't react when
pressing the deadman handle.
No air flow (and abrasive) out of the
nozzle of the blast- and suctionhead.
Some abrasive (and dust) come out
underneath the brush of the blast-
and suctionhead.
Vacuum Blaster decompresses
slower then before.
Cause
There is no signal to the machine.
The main air valve of the blast pot
doesn't function.
The membrane of the
decompression valve has worn out.
The brush does not fully close the
area to be blasted.
The blast pressure is set too high.
Vacuum level to low.
The silencer is dirty.
Vacuum Blaster
Solution
Check the deadman handle, control
hoses and couplings of the hose
package.
Check the membrane and replace it
if necessary.
Check the membrane and replace it
if necessary.
Check the brush and fit the correct
model for the surface shape.
For problem free working set the
blast pressure at max. 5 bar.
Take off the filter from the vacuum
unit and wash out the candles. Make
sure they are completely dry when
before putting back in operation.
If there's no improvement the filter
candles need to be replaced.
Compressed air powered models
only: Insufficent compressed air
supply.
Electric powered models only:
Incorrect voltage and/or frequenze.
Remove the silencer and clean or
replace.
