Enhanced Comfort Mattress: This Non-Air mattress contains 5 in. of memory foam integrated with an egg crate topper.
To attach the Enhanced mattress to the Birthing Bed:
1. Insert the locating pins, located on the underside of the mattress, into the holes in the metal seat support.
2. Snap the mattress to the fowler of the Birthing Bed.

Air Mattress: The Air mattress contains two internal powered air pillows that the patient controls with the Patient Lumbar
Control Functions. These air pillows can firm or soften the back and seat sections of the mattress for patient comfort
(see Patient lumbar control functions with optional Smart TV and optional Air Mattress (Inside siderail) on page
Note: The lumbar controls are only compatible with the Air mattress.
To attach the Air mattress to the Birthing Bed:
1. Insert the locating pins, located on the underside of the mattress, into the holes in the metal seat support.
2. Connect all the hoses from the Air mattress to the Birthing Bed.
3. Snap the mattress to the fowler of the Birthing Bed.

WARNING
Do not extend the oxygen tent below the mattress platform.
CAUTION
Inspect the mattress cover after each use. Openings in the mattress cover may allow fluids to enter the mattress.
Discontinue using the mattress and safely dispose the mattress if any rips or cracks are found in the mattress cover.
