Positioning the Lock-Rite foot section

WARNING
Do not use the foot section locking bar as a grasping bar or other patient assist device.
To position the Lock-Rite foot section:
1.
Position the patient's perineum out and over the edge of the perineal edge.
2.
Lower the foot section to its lowest position.
3.
Place and position the patient's feet on the footrests or legs in the optional calf supports.

Positioning the patient on the Birthing Bed

WARNING
Always leave the product in the lowest position when the patient is unattended to help reduce the number and severity of
patient falls.
CAUTION
The maximum safe working load of the foot section is 300 lb.
To position the patient on the Birthing Bed:
1.
Place and position the patient's feet on the footrests.
2.
Raise or lower the footrests to a position that is comfortable for the patient.
3.
Remove the foot section.
4.
Press the Litter Up button (see
