Preparing commissioning

Warning
· Ensure the following in the movement
area around the DFME−LAS
nobody can place his/her hand in the
path of the moving load (e.g. using a
protective screen)
there are no foreign objects.
Warning
· Carry out the initial commissioning of the drive system with reference travel
and low speeds, masses and forces.
This prevents uncontrolled movements. Low speeds are specified as the basic
setting for homing runs on controller type SFC−LACI.
Note
Movements against the end stop can damage mechanical components and
connections.
· Make sure that the guided drive always moves against the internal end stop.
For special applications reference travel can be made against external fixed
stops.
The maximum permitted forces and torques must be observed here
(è chapter 12 Technical Data").
· Read the warnings and instructions in the manual for the SFC−LACI.
