4 DATA PROCESS
CONFIGURATION.
4.1 Structure.
The Data Process Image defines Profibus-DP field
bus input/output signals exchanged between the
Robot Control (Master module) and Bus Terminal
Controller BX3100 (Slave module).

Exchange the nth I/O Module.
Replace Bus Terminal Controller.
Perform a hardware reset on the Bus Terminal
Controller (switch off and on again).
Perform a hardware reset on the Bus Terminal
Controller (switch off and on again).
Warning: the set cycle time was exceeded.
This indication (flashing leds) can only be cleared by
booting the Bus Terminal Controller again.
Remedy: increase the cycle time.
Transmit program to the Bus Terminal Controller
again.
Remove the fault library.
with the Check the nth I/O Module.
The boot project must be deleted if the insertion of an
nth I/O Module is intentional.
Start the Bus Terminal Controller again, and if the
error occurs again then exchange the I/O Module.
Start the Bus Terminal Controller again. If the error
occurs again, restore the manufacturers setting using
the KS2000 configuration software.

IMAGE BASE
The Data Process Image dimension depends on
one side on the amount of signals exchanged
between Robot Control and Power Source and on
the other side from signals exchanged between
Robot Control and added I/O Modules, eventually
inserted on K-bus. For each of the above-
mentioned configurations a specific version of the
BX3100 software is supplied.
