02 Û AUTOMATED CLEANING AND THERMODISINFECTION
AUTOMATED CLEANING AND THERMODISINFECTION
CAUTION: The automated cleaning
cycle and the thermodisinfection must
always be preceded by the pre-cleaning
steps with enzymatic detergent.
EN
Lay the reusable inserts in a metallic tray
and place it in thermodisinfector;
NOTE: Place the instruments in the
washing machine so that dead zones
do not arise and the water can properly
drain. Also, make sure that the reusable
inserts are properly held in place in the
washing basket and cannot move during
the washing process, as shocks could
damage them.
WARNING: Avoid overloading. Failure
to comply overloading compromises
cleaning effectiveness.
02.3 Û INSPECTION AND DRYING
Once you've finished the cleaning
operations, check all the inserts under an
adequate source of light, paying attention
to the details that could conceal dirt
residues (threading, cavities, grooves,
cutting edges) and, if need be, repeat the
cleaning cycle;
CAUTION: Before starting the
sterilization cycle, make sure that the
insert is thoroughly dry, both externally
and internally. For this purpose, blow
compressed air both externally and
through the internal thru hole; this will
prevent the onset of stains and haloes
on the surface or rust inside the insert.

Sequence and parameters applicable to the
cycle:
- 1 min, Pre-washing with cold water;
- 5 min, Washing with detergent at 55°C
±2°C;
- 2 min, Neutralization with the appropriate
agent;
- 1 min, Rinsing with cold water;
- 5 min, Thermodisinfect at 93°C with
demineralized water following the
national requirements about A0 values
(thermal disinfection at a temperature
of 90°C for 5min results in a A0 value of
3000).
Validated with Miele G78820 or PG8535,
Program Vario TD; Detergent: Neodisher FA
(cleaning agent 0.2% v/v) and Neodisher Z
(neutralization agent 0.1% v/v).
