Setting time and date

The timer displays the time in the 24-hour format only.
IMPORTANT
To set the time to the exact second, after setting the seconds press the
chosen time.
When you have entered the date, the timer calculates the weekday and the date of the subsequent days in
accordance with the Gregorian Calendar. Otherwise it determines the week number for two-week cycles. In
week no. 2 a dot appears after the weekday in the permanent display - it is not shown in week no. 1 (select
the permanent display "time /weekday /day /month /year" with the

Setting summertime

NOTICE
• The automatic summertime conversion can only be used in countries which change the
time on a last Sunday in the month from 02:00 to 03:00 !
• If you want to apply automatic summertime then avoid setting events between 02:00 and
03:00 or set up your equipment to accommodate the pump response at the time of the
conversion!!
• During summertime a dot is displayed after the time in the permanent display - it is not
shown otherwise (press the
permanent display).
At the start of summertime -if the automatic summertime conversion is set - the timer software does the
following: it advances the clock on the last Sunday of the selected month from 02:00 to 03:00 . The timer
software then runs rapidly through all program lines which relate to times between 02:00 and 03:00 in turn
(no batching is carried out!)
At the end of summertime the timer software does the following: on the last Sunday of the selected month
it sets the clock from 03:00 back one hour to 02:00 . The timer software disables all program lines between
02:00 and 03:00 on this second time around. However, hourly events are carried out.

Setting timer type

NOTICE
If you switch the timer type from "complex" to "simple" all program lines are completely
cleared. This is not the case when you switch from "simple" to "complex".
The timer type can be switched from "simple" to "complex" timer type here . When the timer type is set to
"complex", the function range of the timer is not just limited to periodic event enabling, nor is the frequency
of actions limited (the pump operates in MANUAL mode)(see section 2).
The "relay" function is also accessible in "complex" timer mode (see section 3).

Settings for the "Timer" function (SET-menu)

NOTICE
The TIMER menu is shown on the fold-out page at the back.
Using the "Timer" function you can alter program lines:
• new program (new)
• check (show)
• delete individual lines (delete) - section 2.3
• delete all (d. all)
• change (chnge)
The major part of the TIMER menu is only accessible when the timer type is set to "complex" (see section 1. 3).
When the timer type is set to "simple" you can only enable TIME as an event and MAN as an action (the menu
items for events and actions are not shown).
NOTICE
• Decide at the start whether you want to control the pump in "simple" or "complex" timer
type mode!
Remember, if you switch from "complex" to "simple" timer type all program lines are
cleared! (Not when switching from "simple" to "complex".)
• The pump does not carry out a plausibility check!
Be sure that the timer does what you expect it to do before you commence operation!
Consider the consequences in relation to your equipment.
• If you want to apply automatic summertime then avoid setting events between 02:00 and
03:00 or set up your equipment to accommodate the pump response at the time of the
conversion! (see section 1. 2)
