MASK ASSEMBLY AND APPLICATION

360 Degree Tubing Rotation Option (refer to Figure 5)
This option allows the air supply tubing to rotate freely 360 degrees.
Applying the Headgear
1. With the mask removed from the headgear, unlatch the Headgear Buckle and place the Headgear on your head like a headband with the
Forehead Rest centered on your forehead in a comfortable position Figure 6.
2. Release both top left and top right Headgear tabs and gently pull on both tabs at the same time until the Headgear is comfortably snug. Do not

overtighten.
3. Pull the bottom Headgear strap around the front of your face and connect the Headgear Buckle Figure 7.
4 Adjust the length of the bottom Headgear strap by pulling on either the bottom right tab or the bottom left tab so that the bottom strap
will fit loosely on your chin Figure 7a.
Applying the Mask
5. Remove the Quick Connect from the Mask Elbow and attach it to your air supply tubing.
6. Gently push the Mask Bridge into the opening on the Forehead Rest. NOTE–You may want to do this in front of a mirror the first few times.
7. Adjust the angle of the Mask on your nose using the Lower Mask Bridge Levers.

8. With your thumbs, pull the bottom strap of the Headgear up over the Mask Tusks Figure 8. By moving your thumbs back toward your ears, make
sure that the bottom strap is flat against the mask body and your cheek. The Mask should now be snug but not tight. If adjustment to the bot-
tom strap is required, lower the strap from the Mask Tusks and adjust the bottom right and/or bottom left headgear tab(s) length.
9. Turn on your CPAP device (refer to the Operating Instructions for your CPAP device), verify airflow through the air supply tubing, and attach the
Quick Connect to the mask. You may feel a few small leaks around the Mask.
10. Eliminating mask leaks and optimizing comfort in the area around the bridge of the nose can be accomplished by adjusting the angle of the
mask using the Lower Mask Bridge Levers.
CAUTION– Do not overtighten your headgear! Excessive tension will cause discomfort during the night. Reposition the mask on your face and adjust your

Bridge Levers and remove mask. If you prefer to leave mask attached, simply pull off the Mask Tubing Quick Connect
from the Mask Elbow.
