5. Flash modes

5.1 i-TTL-flash mode
• Turn on the flash unit and camera.
• Activate the shutter release so that a data
exchange takes place between the flash unit and
camera.

i-TTL flash mode and i-TTL BL flash mode
are supported by mecablitz 44 MZ-2 from
series no. 127501or from software version

• For the i-TTL-flash mode press the button
"Mode" repeatedly on the flash unit until "TTL"
flashes in the display.
• For the i-TTL BL flash mode then press the but-
ton "+" repeatedly until in the display
shown. To deactivate the BL function press the
button "-" until
effect immediately and is saved after 5s. The
symbol "TTL" stops flashing after being saved.

• For the i-TTL flash mode adjust the setting mark
for preselecting the aperture to "TTL" on the
flash unit. In the display window of the flash unit
TTL is shown.
• For the i-TTL BL-flash mode then press the but-
ton "Mode" repeatedly until
in the display window. To deactivate the BL func-
tion, press the "Mode" button until "BL" disap-
pears in the display window. The setting takes
effect immediately and is saved automatically
after 5s.
