FORMAT CARD

When FORMAT CARD is selected from the menu, the
screen on the left appears on the LCD monitor.

Move the arrow to OK with the +/– buttons. Press the OK
button to start formatting. "FORMATTING" appears on the
screen.
The mode is canceled afterwards.
No other operation can be performed while formatting.
Note:
Formatting a card erases the existing data. Be
careful not to erase important data when
formatting a recorded card.
When the write-protect adhesive seal is placed
on the card, the Card error mark on the control
panel blinks, and FORMAT CARD is not engaged.
Formatting the card from the camera is
recommended for best results.
