HOW TO OPERATE THE FUSION 20 I

1. Release the parking brake. See figure 22.
2. Turn the key switch "ON".
3. Put the pad housing in the down position by
pulling up on the control handles. See figure
23.
4. Hold the control handles as shown in figure 24.
5. When the pad motor switch ( 1 - figure 24) is
pushed in, the pad motor will start.
6. Push the machine forward and guide it with the
control handles.
7. To reverse the direction, stop the machine by
pulling back on the control handles and then
pulling the machine backwards.
8. When you stop the machine, be sure to turn
the key switch off and set the parking brake.
Adjusting Pad Pressure Fusion 20 I
To increase or decrease the pad pressure:
1. Remove or hold up the battery cover.
2. Turn the pad pressure knob (figure 25 ) clock-
wise to increase pad pressure and counter
clockwise to decrease pad pressure. Use the
pad pressure gauge to determine the best
setting. The needle should stay in the green
area.
