Step 4:
Once clean, thoroughly rinse in running water to remove all
traces of the cleaning solution
Step 5: Rinse in distilled water to remove any dissolved minerals in the
cleaning water.
Step 6: Clean the fiber ends by gently rubbing with a cotton swab
saturated in alcohol. Immediately dry using compressed air.
STERILIZATION - STEAM AUTOCLAVE
Sterilization can be accomplished in an AAMI ST8 compliant steam sterilizer with
the following criteria:
Preparation: SPSmedical Self-Seal pouch SSP387 with SPSmedical
STEAMPlus Integrator SSI-100
METHOD CYCLE
Steam Prevacuum Prevacuum 270
(in pouch)
The above steam sterilization method was validated for these devices. If other
equipment, methods or parameters are used, the user is responsible for
validation.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Your fiberoptic light guide has a one (1) year warranty from the date of shipment
for defects in material/workmanship, except for broken fiber. Should your product
prove to have such defects within one (1) year of shipment,
will repair or replace the product or component part without

charge. Warranty does not cover equipment subject to misuse, accidental
damage, and normal wear and tear. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Should your fiberoptic light guide need servicing under this warranty, please
contact your distributor or your customer support specialist for return
authorization documentation. You should carefully pack the product in a sturdy
carton, including a note describing the defects, your name, your company name,
telephone number and a return address.
