7.3- Gap adjustments between knife and
counterknife
This adjustments must be done after the sharpen or new
knifes installation.
a) Remove the feeding chute (1) loosing the bolts (2).
b) Loosen the impeller fastening bolts (3).
c) Displace the impeller (4) manually forward,
approximating the knifes (5) nearest as possible against
the counter (6).
IMPORTANT: It cannot have interferance between the
knives and counterknife during the operation. Therefore,
JF recommends a minimum gap 0,05 to 0,15 mm.
d) Check the gap through feeding nozzle (7), turning the
impeller (4) manually and slowly.
e) After the adjustment, tighten the bolts (3) to fasten the
impeller (4) on correct position.
f) Reinstall the feeding chute (1).
g) Remove the countercover (7).
h) Close cover (8), rising and tighten latch (9).
