4. About safety

• Do not drop, hit or otherwise expose the main unit or earphone-microphones
to strong shocks of any kind. This could damage the product.
• Do not disassemble or attempt to open any parts of the system.
5. Placement
• When not using the unit for an extended period, remove the battery before
storing the unit.
• Do not place the system in any of the following locations:
- Location exposed to direct sunlight, in a car, near a heater, or other areas of
extreme high temperature locations.
- Dusty location.
- On an unsteady or inclined surface.
- Location exposed to large amounts of vibration.
- Bathroom or other high-humidity locations.
6. When something is wrong with the Product
• If any of the following symptoms appear, immediately cease use of the
earphone-microphone and main unit, turn power to OFF, and consult your
Pioneer Service Center:
- The earphone-microphone exhibits unnatural heating, smells, deformation,
discoloration, etc.
- A foreign object enters the earphone-microphone and main unit.
• Make sure earphone is inserted securely in ear.
• Use the volume dial to lower the sound level.
• Change to a different size of earphone tip.
