CHARACTERISTICS AND INSTALLATION

innovative SBC battery chargers while maintaining the well-known high quality of the "Quick" products.
Thanks to, the "Switch Mode", we have considerably cut down the size and weight of the battery chargers.
The special features of these battery chargers allow quick and safe charging.
Other important advantages of the SBC battery chargers are:
• full protection against shorts, overload and overheat
• usage as power supplies when there are no batteries
• delivery full power even with low supply voltages
• adapt to any type of generator
• multiple outputs to charge several groups of batteries
• advanced control panel which provides information about the charge and the operating state of the charger.
INSTALLATION
BEFORE USING THE BATTERY CHARGER, CAREFULLY READ THIS MANUAL. IF IN DOUBTS, CONSULT YOUR NEAREST

THE SBC BATTERY CHARGERS HAVE BEEN DESIGNED FOR PERMANENT INDOOR INSTALLATION.
THE PACKAGE CONTAINS: battery charger - warranty coupon - operating instructions - cable terminals (to be used
for connection to the output terminals).
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION
Depending on the model of the charger, use the batteries and cables (on the output terminals) as specified in the
table below.

The cables connected to the output terminals should have a maximum length of 4 m.
WARNING: the battery charger should be used only with rechargeable batteries (Lead/Acid or Lead/Gel)
sealed or not.

PLACE OF INSTALLATION

Install the SBC battery charger in a dry and ventilated place as near as possible to the batteries to be charged.
Although they are of proven efficiency, the chargers generate small quantity of heat therefore it is essential to
install them in a well ventilated area so as to ensure top efficiency.
Excessively high ambient temperatures (higher than 50°C) may derate the battery charger. Install the equipment
in a vertical position with the cooling fan turned downwards. The battery charger (except for the base) should be
at least 5 cm away from walls or other obstructions.
