    MEASURING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE Plug the air hose connector into the main unit. • Plug the air hose connector firmly into the air hose socket on the main unit, as illustrated. • Do not bend the air hose during measurement, which may cause inflation error, or harmful injury due to continuous cuff pressure.
  • Página 13 Adjust the position of the cuff so that the air hose is located in the center of your arm and the hem of the cuff is 0.4” – 0.8” (1 cm – 2 cm) above your elbow. * The cuff should be put on the bare arm or over a light-weight underwear.

    Irregular Heartbeat Indicator If an irregular heartbeat is detected during measurement, the Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) Indicator is displayed after measurement is completed. There are 2 conditions under which the signal of IHB will be displayed: 1) The coefficient of variation (CV) of pulse period > 25% 2) The difference of adjacent pulse period 0.14s, and the number of such pulse takes more than 53 percentage of the total number of pulse.

    AUTOMATIC POWER OFF FEATURE • After taking the blood pressure measurement, pressing the “ START/STOP” switch will turn the monitor off. However, if you do not press the switch, the monitor’s Auto OFF function will automatically turn the monitor off after 1 minute. TIPS FOR OBTAINING ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS Your blood pressure varies according to your posture, the time of day and a range of other factors.
