HOW TO MOUNT THE TILLER WITH THE QUICK COUPLING
To attach the rotary tiller to the walking tractor follow the instructions below:
- Firmly hold the walking tractor by the handlebar and insert the quick coupling until it perfectly fits
with the machine's coupling. Then lock it through the lever (fig. 5, A).
CAUTION: connect the attachment when the engine is off.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Before starting the engine always check:
- that the inverter lever on the gearbox housing is in the right position: A for walking tractor and B
for sickle-bar (fig. 3)
- that the PTO lever (fig. 2, n. 3) and the forward lever (fig. 2, n. 1) are in neutral position ("STOP").
- that the engine oil level (fig. 7, n. 1) and the gearbox oil level are correct. The level check cap is
located on the upper cover (fig. 7, n. 3).
- that all screws and nuts are well tightened especially those of the hoes and those fastening the
attachments to the machine.
- that all levers are in neutral position.
- that the PTO lever is not engaged. IMPORTANT: when the red right lever is activated the PTO
is engaged and the attachment starts rotating (see PTO label – fig. 1).
- that the dry air filter is clean. Important: do not blow the cartridge with compressed air. If it is
clogged, the cartridge must be replaced. For the oil-bath air filter, check that it is clean and the oil
is at the right level (fig. 6, n. 4).
- that the handlebar is set at the right height (fig. 2, n. 10).
Fill the tank with fuel, using a funnel with very fine filter. The fuel cap is located on the engine, to fill
the tank with fuel unscrew the tap (fig. 6, A).
STARTING THE ENGINE
Turn on the petrol cock (fig. 6, n. 2), push the throttle lever halfway (fig. 2, n. 6) and engage the
choke device if the engine is cold (fig. 6, n. 1). If the walking tractor is equipped with the recoil
starter, pull hard on the pull starter handle (fig. 6, n. 3) to start the engine.
STARTING THE MACHINE
The forward lever is located on the left side of the handlebar.
- The machine moves forward pressing the grey safety device (fig. 2, n. 2) and subsequently
pressing the red clutch lever (fig. 2, n. 1).
The machine stops when the red lever (fig. 2, n. 1) is released, the engine keeps on running, the
forward lever comes back into "STOP" position (fig. 2, n. 2) and it is locked by the grey safety
device.
HANDLEBAR ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the height of the handlebar unlock the appropriate lever (fig. 2, n. 10), raise or lower the
handlebar and then release the same lever to lock its position. To turn the handlebar use the lever
(fig. 9), turn the handlebar to the right or to the left and then release the samelever to lock its
position.
STARTING WORK
The PTO lever is located on the right side of the handlebar.
To engage the rotary tiller unlock the PTO lever (fig. 2, n. 3 - 4) by pressing the grey button on the

IMPORTANT: when the right red lever is pressed down the PTO is engaged and the
