WARNING!
Danger from hazardous substances!
Possible consequence: Fatal or very
serious injuries.
Please ensure when handling haz‐
ardous substances that you have
read the latest safety data sheets pro‐
vided by the manufacture of the haz‐
ardous substance. The actions
required are described in the safety
data sheet. Check the safety data
sheet regularly and replace, if neces‐
sary, as the hazard potential of a sub‐
stance can be re-evaluated at any
time based on new findings.
The system operator is responsible
for ensuring that these safety data
sheets are available and that they are
kept up to date, as well as for pro‐
ducing an associated hazard assess‐
ment for the workstations affected.
NOTICE!
Filling electrolyte
Do not touch or damage the
membrane on the membrane cap
and the electrodes on the elec‐
trode shaft
Do not bring the sensor into con‐
tact with substances containing
grease!
The sensor will then no longer
work accurately

Assembling the sensor

If soiled, replace the membrane
cap with a new one or send the
sensor away to have the elec‐
trodes cleaned
NOTICE!
Damage to the membrane
Possible consequence: Damage to
membrane and possible concomitant
failure of sensor.
The sensor may only be slowly
inserted into or removed from the
in-line probe housing
Otherwise the membrane
could be damaged
The sensor must always be kept
moist after commissioning
e.g. the flow gauge must
never run dry
Fit the sensor as described in the
operating manual for the in-line probe
housing.
