In the case of clockwise rotation the green LED „
lights up.
In the case of anti-clockwise rotation and phase failure the red LED
„ " lights up.
During electrical assembly of the pump please ensure therefore that the
green LED lights up and that the pump's direction of rotation matches the
arrow on the pump housing. Only then will both LEDs show the pump's
direction of rotation or display the wrong direction of rotation if the direc-
tion of rotation of the mains connection changes.
Monitoring seals:
The penetration of water into the inside of the motor as a result of faulty
seals is checked and assessed and displayed for each pump.
DI TURN-OFF:
DI WARNING:
Because it may in certain emergency situations be necessary to briefly
continue to operate the pump(s) despite water penetrating into the motor
compartment (e.g. empty-pumping of a shaft), there are 2 possible ways of
switching off the seal monitoring:
– Switch to „Manual operation" on the available switchbox (if Auto-Manual
switch available)
– Disconnect P1 c / P2 c connections on the SK 545
ATTENTION!
WSK thermal monitoring:
If the motor overheats as a result of an overload the winding earthing
contact switches the motor off. The turn-off is indicated by the red „WSK"
LED on the front plate for each pump.
The fault acknowledges itself once it has been rectified (motor has cooled
down).
The leak is displayed (LED) and the pump turned off.
Problem acknowledged by switching of phase L1 for
approx. 10 s.

In this operating mode the pump is only to be operated for
short periods in emergency situations, as there is a risk of
short-circuit if water has already entered the motor com-
partment.In this case the appliance must be inspected by
Customer Service!
