INTERPRETING YOUR READING Irregular Heartbeat Detector An irregular heartbeat is defined as a heartbeat rhythm that is more than 25% slower or 25% faster than the average measurement detected while the monitor is conducting the measurement. When this device detects an irregular rhythm two or more times during the reading, the IHB symbol will appear on the display screen. -
