Mounting
– Remove the seat
– Mount the cable support sleeves [1] on the retaining bracket
– Insert the bushings [2] in the cable support sleeves from below
– Mount the retaining bracket on the vehicle with the plastic screw
D=5X18
(also catching the holder [3] on the upper left)
– Remove the dummy plug from the main wiring harness and connect
the alarm system.
– Save the dummy plug.
– Hold the socket connection in place with the cover [4].
– Attach the alarm system with 4 pan-head tapping screws [5] and
washers.
ATTACHING THE REED SWITCH:
– Position the Reed switch [6] on the rear frame as illustrated
– Mark the holes
– Drill using a D 3 mm drill
– Fasten the Reed switch with oval head self-tapping screws DIN7981-
3.5X10
– Connect the Reed switch to the wiring harness (run the cable under
20 mm
the retaining bracket)
– Position the magnet [7] as illustrated
– Mark the holes
– Drill using a D 3 mm drill (CAREFUL - DO NOT PIERCE)
– Fasten the magnet with the oval head self-tapping screws DIN7981-
