Commissioning steps:
1. Start »Engineer«.
2. Select the procedure in the Start-up wizard.
• For instance the option "Select component from
catalogue".
3. Add the corresponding components from the catalogue
to the project:
• 9400 HighLine controller
• Device modules
• Application
• Motor
4. Select controller from the Project view and make basic
settings:
• Set mains voltage & machine parameters.
• Select motor control type.
• Assign encoder/feedback system.
• Set basic functions used.
5. Optional parameter setting:
• Assign terminal signals.
• Set application-dependent parameters.
• Adapt port assignment and establish network/
communication.
• Connect safe sensors/actuators and parameterise
safety functions.
6. Connect controller to mains
7. Go online, update application, and transmit it to
controller.
8. Enable controller and control application via terminals/
MotionBus.
9. Optimise application.
