USING AN EXTENSION CABLE
If it is necessary to use an extension cable, please used
an approved extension cable that fits the tool's power input
specifications. The minimum cross-sectional area of the
conducting wire is 1.5 sq. mm. Cables should be untangled
before reeling up.

ASSEMBLY
WARNING! Before assembly, make sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
turn tool off and disconnect tool from power source
before making any adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. Before reconnecting the tool,
depress and release the trigger switch to ensure that the
tool is off. An accidental start-up can cause injury.

WARNING! Never use the tool without a sanding paper or
accessory in place.
♦ Soften the sanding paper by rubbing its non-abrasive
side over the edge of a worktop.
♦ Release the sanding paper clamp levers (4).
♦ Place the paper onto the sanding base (3).
♦ Insert the edge of the sanding paper into the front
paper clamp as shown.
♦ Press the front paper clamp lever (4) downwards.
♦ While keeping a slight tension on the paper, insert the
rear edge of the paper into the rear paper clamp.
♦ Press the rear paper clamp lever (4) downwards.
USE
WARNING! Always wear gloves when you change
accessories. The exposed metal parts on the tool and

accessory may become extremely hot during operation.
Please operate tool with normal load. Do not overload. Do
not abuse the tool, please refer instruction manual to use

the tool correctly.

♦ To switch the tool on, press the on/off switch (1).

♦ For continuous operation, press the lock-on button (2)

and release the on/off switch.
♦ To switch the tool off, release the on/off switch. To

the on/off switch once more and release it.

Hints for optimum use (Fig. C)

♦ Do not exert too much pressure on the tool.
♦ Regularly check the condition of the sanding paper.

♦ Replace when necessary.

♦ It is better to sand along the grain of the wood.
♦ When sanding new layers of paint before applying
another layer, use extra fine grit.
♦ On very uneven surfaces, or when removing layers of
paint, start with a coarse grit. On other surfaces, start
with a medium grit. In both cases, gradually change to
a fine grit for a smooth finish.
♦ Consult your retailer for more information on available
accessories.
WARNING! Do not use this tool to mix or pump
easily combustible or explosive fluids (benzine,
alcohol, etc.). Do not mix or stir inflammable liquids
labelled accordingly.
