Operation

The chapter "Operation" describes:
■ usual work in normal operation.

7.1 Personal Protective Equipment

When working on and with the collet chuck CAPTIS-M, personal protective
equipment must be worn. The owner is responsible for providing personal
protective equipment.
■ Personal protective equipment must be in perfect condition when
carrying out work. Defective safety equipment is to be replaced
immediately.
■ Observe information on personal protective equipment posted in the
working area.
■ During operation of the collet chuck CAPTIS-M, no hand protection must
be worn! Hand protection is only to be worn during transport, assembly
and maintenance and as long as the machine and the collet chuck
CAPTIS-M are at a standstill.

Risk of burns due to hot surfaces.
Burns on hands.
 Do not touch the collet chuck CAPTIS-M when in opera-
tion.
 Allow the collet chuck CAPTIS-M to cool down before
carrying out necessary work.
