4.5 - MOUNTING OF STOP BARS AND MICROSWITCH SETTING
The stop bars must be mounted on the rack in such a way as to respect the safety distance when closed or open.
Place the stop bars "R" and "S" as shown in fig. 17, and attach them to the rack with the relative screws.
Adjust the extension of the "M" stop bar by tightening or loosening screw "P" so that it connects correctly with the stop bar.
We suggest to do the opening and closing operation by hand, checking if you hear the microswitch release during the opening and the closing of
the gate and if this release respects the safety distances indicated in picture 18.
4.6 - MECHANICAL CLUTCH SETTING
The friction (a mechanical one) limits the pressure that the gate provokes against an obstacle obstructing the opening or closing motion.
WARNING
The regulation must be done after having installed the automatism and it must be in conformity with the now-in-force safety rules
(UNI8612). The pressure is controlled in both the motion directions and you must be able to stop it contrasting the gate motion. Be scru-
pulous when following the laws and regulations in force in the Country where installation is to take place.
Check periodically.
For the friction regulation proceed as indicated below:
• take the tension off in the motor-reducer;
• take the cover off the motor-reducer;
• hold the shaft with a No. 17 spanner, and with a 6 mm Allen key turn the clutch dowel as shown in fig. 19; turn round clockwise to increase
the force, or turn round anticlockwise to diminish the force.
Repeat the operations until you obtain the suitable pressure, and than set the cover back as at the beginning.
WARNING
The operations described above must be carried out without any voltage.
4.7 - ELECTRICAL CLUTCH SETTING
See diagram for electrical circuit (1500 MS mod. only)
4.8 - ELECTRICAL BRAKE MOUNTING
To mount the electrical brake, please proceed as follows:
• take the tension off in the motor-reducer;
- take the cover off the motor-reducer;
• Keep the clutch shaft still with a wrench, and use a spanner to remove collar "G". Dismantle mechanical clutch.
• mount, as shown in fig. 20, spring "S", then electrical brake "F", then motor fan "V".
• attach electrical brake to motor body by tightening screws "T".
• hold shaft with wrench, then tighten crown "G".
• connect brake to electrical circuit in accordance with instructions supplied with it.
To set electric brake clutch:
• keep the clutch shaft still with a wrench, and use a spanner to turn collar "G" as shown in fig. 20. Turn clockwise to increase force, and anti-
clockwise to reduce (fig. 21).
• Repeat the operations until you obtain the suitable pressure, and than set the cover back as at the beginning.
WARNING
The operations described above must be carried out without any voltage.
4.9 - OPENING OF THE GATE IN CASE OF LOCK OF COURRENT
In case of lock of electrical courrent the gate can be opened by hand after having unblocked the motor - reducer as described below.
• take off the tension in the motor-reducer.
• turn key "H" (fig. 22) and open door "D";
• to set the gate back to the automatic function repeat the operation described above otherwise.
WARNING
The operations described above must be carried out without any voltage.
4.10 - GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
Our products have a 12-month guarantee running from the date of installation. Guarantee is limited only to free repairs or replacements of the
items found to be defective. Guarantee is not valid in case the products have been tampered with, changed, not properly installed or in case they
have no identification label carrying the production code and date. We refuse all responsability for any damages which, directly or indirectly,
may result to people, things and animals, fail to observe all indications in the instructions manual, and especially as for the instructions concer-
ning installation, use and safety and the non-respect of the regulations and standards ruling in the country where the installation is to be car-
ried out.
