Installation Overview

Needed for installation
Exterior wall mount installation:
• Weatherproof double-gang junction
box with gasket (mounting screw holes
are 5.25" apart)
Exterior wall mount installation without
double-gang box:
• Crossbar (included)
• Weatherproof silicone caulk
Soffit mounting:
• Weatherproof junction box
• 1/2" threaded coverplate with foam
gasket and coverplate screws

Environmental considerations
• Weather can affect operation of the
sensor. Strong gusts of wind, snow,
rain and hail can cause switching
errors since the sudden temperature
changes cannot be distinguished from
heat sources.
