Coverage adjustment - lens rotation
The sensor's field of view can be aimed
130° horizontally and 65° vertically to best
meet the application requirements.
The sensor should not tilt to face upwards
but should be aimed at least 15° below
horizontal for ideal detection.
Aim N' Lock - light adjustment
STEINEL's unique Aim N' Lock lampholders
do not require tools and ensure that
lampholders remain locked in place without
sagging or becoming loose over time.
Each lampholder can be adjusted in two
locations. To rotate the lampholder's arm,
(for vertical direction of lamp) simply pull
out, align to desired position, and push in
to lock back in to place. The lampholders
can also swivel to aim the lamps
horizontally as needed.
It is best to make final adjustments to
the lampholders after installation. This
will give you the opportunity to maximize
your light coverage and to also be
certain the lamps are not blocking any
part of the viewing angle of the sensor.
It is recommended that the lamps be
positioned out and above the sensing
plane.
NOTE: For safety, adjustments to Aim N'
Lock lampholders should be made before
screwing in light bulbs.
NOTE: The FL300 accepts two PAR
38 flood lamps. Make sure lamps seat
properly in lampholders to ensure
contact.
