It is recommended that these double cone junctions are of a suf-
ficiently small diameter.
n
Note for the GEMINI/GEMINI CORNER models: these
baths are equipped with two independent tap fittings;
thus two 1/2" hot-cold water supplies will have to be pro-
vided (ref. 5-1 and 5-2). Alternatively, it is possible to pro-
vide a 3/4" water supply (to guarantee the overall flow rate)
and then divert 1/2" piping for the two tap fittings.
n
Note - models with ELECTRICAL BRASSWARE: this
brassware type features 3/4" connections, so therefore
ensure that the ground outlets are also 3/4". Electrical
brassware has a greater flower rate (23 l/min): we still
recommend checking to ensure that the system pro-
duces sufficient amounts of hot water.
 J-Sha models
For these models, the electricity, drainage and hot/cold water
connections must be provided following the indications given
for models with tap fittings.
For the rectangular models, in order to facilitate any work on the
lumbar hydromassage system, it is advisable to install the side
panel on the backrest side.
The J-Sha Mi and J-Sha Mi Corner models, equipped with an
overflow system hidden underneath the bathtub rim, require
an excavation in the floor for installation of the siphon (see re-
spective sheet). The excavation required for the J-Sha Compact
model is shallower.
 Morphosis (Alpha - Gamma) models
For these models, the electricity, drainage and hot/cold water
connections must be provided following the indications given
for models with tap fittings.
The large dimensions of these baths (and of the Alpha front panel)
presumes a suitable width of the areas (corridors, doors, etc.) leading
to the installation room: before ordering the product, it is advisable to
consult the handling diagrams available on www. jacuzzi.eu.
To prevent interference with the bath frame, the drain must be
provided within the area indicated in the respective sheet.

Electrical safety

Jacuzzi®" hydromassage products are safe appliances, manufac-
tured according to EN 60335.2.60, EN 55014 and EN 55014-2.
They are tested during production to guarantee user safety.
Installation must be carried out by qualified and authorized per-
sonnel, in compliance with current national provisions.
n
It is the responsibility of the installer to select proper
materials, carry out the work correctly and check the
condition of the system to which the unit will be con-
nected and the unit itself in order to ensure user safety.
Jacuzzi® whirlpool baths are Class "1" appliances and thus must
be securely anchored and permanently connected to the electric
mains and earth system without any intermediate connections.
n
The electrical system and earth system of the building
must be in working order and must comply with the le-
gal provisions and specific regulations in force in the
country of use.
n
An appropriate device must be provided, as part of the
fixture and installed in compliance with current regu-
lations, which disconnects the equipment from the
mains.
For connection to the mains, it is necessary to install a disconnect-
ing multiple-pole switch that provides full disconnection under
overvoltage category III conditions and place it in an area that com-
plies with the safety prescriptions for bathrooms.
n
The switch and other electrical devices must be located,
in compliance with regulations, in an area that cannot
be reached by the person using the appliance.
The installation of electrical devices and other equipment (sock-
ets, switches, etc.) in the bathroom must be in strict accordance
with the legal requirements and regulations for each country. In
particular, no electrical installations are to be made within the
area surrounding the appliance in a range of 60 cm horizontally
and 225 cm vertically.
