Wet conditions and moisture may lead to a short circuit.
Observe the following:
Only operate the unit in dry areas.
Before placing the unit into operation, check whether the rated voltage corresponds to the rated volt-
age of the unit specified on the identification plate.
Only connect the unit to a mains socket with an earth connection.
Only use the mains connection cable supplied with the unit.
Be sure to comply with the technical specifications when the mains cable is replaced. See section 12
'Technical details'. If country-specific power cables are used, make sure that the cables are certified in
accordance with the electrical rating details and information of the relevant standards of the respective
country.

7.5 Unit inspection

The unit inspection must be completed at regular intervals by the operator (e.g. weekly). Specifically check
the mains connection, mains cable, plug and fuse holder for damage.
If there are any anomalies, the unit must be taken out of operation, ensured that it is not placed back into
operation and the service department notified (see section 14). For more detailed information see section
9 'Cleaning' and 10 'Repair'.
