ELECTRIC LEAF VACUUM/BLOWER
PLS 3000 A1
The electric leaf vacuum/blower has two safety contacts.
There is one safety contact in the motor housing (1) where the blower pipe (9)
or collection bag (14) is inserted.
The second safety contact is located into the suction aperture where the
protective cover (7) or the suction tube (16) is mounted. The screws for
whichever accessory is chosen (13 or 17) depending on whether the machi-
ne is being used for blowing or vacuuming leaves) must be tightened here by
hand using the star grip.
If these contacts are not activated, the device cannot be started!
Pay attention to the correct assembly of
- blow pipe (9) and protective cover (7) for blowing mode;
- suction tube (16) and collection bag (14) for vacuum mode.
Blowing mode:
• Now push the blow tube (9) on to the blowing aperture of the motor
housing (1) as far as the locking device (8).
• The screw with star grip (13) has to be tightened as far as it will go by
hand, as otherwise the leaf blower cannot be started later.
Vacuum mode:
• After the two-part suction tube has been assembled, it must
not be divided up again into two parts!
• The screw with star grip (17) has to be tightened as far as it will go by
hand, as otherwise the leaf blower cannot be started later.
• Push the catcher (14) on to the blower outlet of the motor housing (1)
until this snaps into place in the locking device (8).
