5.2. SOFTWARE CONNECTION

Connect NOVA‐500 LAN port to the PC. You can use cross and straight Ethernet cable.

Default IP address: 192.168.0.168, Communication port number: 16888.

Press Connect icon in the software and enter login and password (Administrators/none
by default), If PC and NOVA‐500 are in the same range communication is stablished
automatically.

If required, reset the IP address to default by enable & disable (UP‐DOWN) the dipswitch 6th
PIN on the rear panel of host.

If you dislike the default IP/NM/GW/port please change them with de software.

The 5th dipswitch enables DHCP function. If you want to activate it make sure your network
router opened up the DHCP function.
5.3. PARAMETER SETTING
This is the main menu of hardware configuration where most of system parameters such zones,
microphone keys, volumes. are set up.
Once software is connected to NOVA‐500 all system parameters are synchronized. After any
modification in any of the menus, it is necessary to press Save button
to the unit.
