K1 to K21: Contactors
Note 1: Relay outputs cannot be used for direct powering the loads (except alarms).
They are designed to activate the contactor´s bobbins.
Note 2: The battery connected to terminals 25 and 26 is intended to keep the controller basic
functions operating (readings / datalogger) in case of power outage.
Note 3: In order to obtain the maximum sealing and consequent protection against humidity,
the external diameter of cables must meet the following specifications:
RS-485 SERIAL COMMUNICATION: Ø between 3.5 and 5.5 mm
TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY SENSOR: Ø between 5.0 and 6.2 mm
POWER AND CONTROL OUTPUTS: Ø between 7.0 and 10.2 mm
TEMPERATURE SENSORS: Ø between 3.5 and 5.5 mm
DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSORS: Ø between 3.5 and 5.5 mm

IMPORTANT

According to IEC 60364 standards:
1:
Install protectors against overvoltage
2: Sensor and serial communication cables can be together; however, not in the same electrical conduit through which power supply and load
driving occur.
3: Install transient suppressors (RC filters) in parallel to loads, so as to increase the lifecycle of relays.

14 - INTEGRATING CONTROLLERS, RS-485 SERIAL INTERFACE AND COMPUTER

Distribution Box
Used to connect more than one instrument to the
Interface. Wiring must be as follows: terminal of the
instrument connects to terminal of the distribution
box, which must be connected to terminal
Interface.
Repeat the procedure for terminals and , in which
is the cable shield (grounding is optional).
Terminal of the distribution box must be connected
to the respective terminals on each instrument.
