NOTICE
1. This is a "UNIVERSAL" child restraint. It is approved to Regulation No 44, 04 series of
amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats.
2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook
that the vehicle is capable of accepting a "UNIVERSAL" child restraint for this age group.
3. This child restraint

Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with 3 point with or without retractor
safety-belts, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No.16 or other equivalent standards.
This child restraint system should not be installed on seats fitted with an AIRBAG without
t being deactivated first.
WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTES
THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL SHOULD BE STORED WITH THE SCOUT WHILE IT IS
IN USE.
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT AND
KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. THE CHILD'S SAFETY MAY BE AT RISK IF
THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED.
• The SCOUT is a child seat belonging to Group 0+ (up to 13 kg), Group 1-2 (from 9
to 25 kg).
• The original equipment must not be altered.
• The SCOUT should not be used without the upholstery.
• After an accident the base should be inspected or changed.
• Make sure that the folding seat or doors of the vehicle can not damage any part of the base.
• Protect all metal parts from heating up in the sun.
• The straps should never be twisted.
• Always use the SCOUT, even on a short journey, and never leave the child unattended
inside the car.
• Take the SCOUT out of the vehicle whenever it is not going to be used and keep it out
of the reach of children.
• It is advisable to make sure that any luggage or objects that may cause injury in the
event of an accident are secure.
• We guarantee the safety of the product when it is used by the original buyer, do not use
second-hand safety seats or products.
• The other passengers in the vehicle should also use their seat belts because in the
event of an accident they may be flung about and injure the baby.
• Regularly inspect all the parts of the SCOUT as they may become loose or deteriorate
with use.
• Make sure that the vehicle upholstery does not make it difficult to tighten the seat belt.
• Remember that you are responsible for the child's safety.
