Mounting the splash guard
The splash guard must be mount-
ed when using the aerator cylin-
der, as there is otherwise a risk
of injury. Rotate the locking but-
tons (Fig 6. Pos. 8) on the cover
in such a way that the groove is
free. Push the splash guard (Fig. 6,
Pos. 11) over the cover from the
rear and secure the splash guard
in position using the right and left
locking buttons (Fig. 6a).
Caution! Only start the
A
appliance after it has been
fully assembled!
Assembling the brushes (Fig. 7)
The splash guard and aerator
rollers must always be removed
if you work with the brushes
and dirt collector.
In this design, the brushes can
only be mounted right and left.
They are therefore marked with R
for right and L for left on the head

You require the Brill power
battery 24 PA (Art. No. 65006)
for the power supply and com-
missioning.
Always carry out a visual
inspection before use in order
to determine whether the
cutting tool is worn or damaged
and that no screws are loose.
Only work in daylight or with
good artificial lighting. If pos-
sible, avoid using the appliance
when the grass is wet. Always
ensure that the appliance is well
and securely positioned when
on inclines.
Only use the appliance at
a walking pace. Take special
care when turning the appliance
around or pulling it closer to
you. Stop the cutting tool if it
of the brush. The assembling
screws are pre-mounted on the
brush. Please loosen the screw
before starting to mount the
brushes. Push the brush guide
onto the housing drive shaft as
far as it will go. Connect the brush
to the drive shaft by tightening the
screw as far as possible. Mount
the left brush in the same way.
Please do not apply any force
when assembling the brushes.
Ensure that the brush marked
"R" is mounted on the right

Height adjustment of the
middle handle (Fig. 8)
