Disassembly of handle
Screw out arresting nipple item 45, remove pressure spring item 44, ball item 43 and valve
pin item 42. The valve insert item 31 can be screwed off if necessary.
It is locked with Loctite screw locking no. 243.
After knocking out the tension pin item 41, the valve pusher item 40 is free and can be
removed.
The end plate item 33 with o-ring item 34 remains in the handle, if there is no leakage. If not,
the o-ring has to be replaced.
Reassembly
The reassembly is basically done in the reverse order than the disassembly. Wear and tear
parts - especially the vanes item 15 – should be replaced in time. They are considered to be
worn, when their width is less than 23.5 mm.
When the rotor or the cylinder bushing are replaced, resp. the faces are re-grinded, the end
play between rotor and end plates item 11 and 16 has to be checked.
The end play should be approx. 0.04 mm at each side. (cylinder bushing has to be 0.08 mm
longer than the rotor measure).
The ball bearings have to be greased again, if necessary.
The fixing screws have to be screwed in with screw locking Loctite 243
After re-assembly the function and performance of the impact wrench have to be checked.

Only original spare parts may be used. There is no warranty for damages and liability is
disclaimed, if non-original spare parts and accessories are used.
